The Fb Intralogistics Tower is ideal for initial automation of container warehouses with a small number of storage locations. With a capacity of up to 1,000 containers per tower, this solution is aimed at small companies who want to automate their manual container warehouses. At a lower level, the Fb Tower enables goods-to-person or container-to-person picking.
The Fb Tower essentially consists of a static shelf that is arranged around a rotating lifter. In this case, the containers can be stored three-deep on the shelf. The storage locations are designed for standard containers measuring 600 x 400mm in various heights. Other container sizes can be easily and quickly integrated into the Fb Intralogistics Tower. This automation system was designed by our team of experts to be flexible and adaptable in line with your own requirements. The modular construction also means that it can be readily adapted to different warehouse conditions. As an example, the height of the tower can be individually adjusted to the height of the hall and the number of modules can be extended at will. Individual modules are then connected to each other via container conveyor technology to make an innovative, complete system.
The tote lift in the centre of the shelf is the heart of the system. To keep service and maintenance costs down to a minimum, this is a simple lift that is pivoted and equipped with a special load attachment device. This load attachment device allows for simultaneous picking of six containers, increasing throughput as a result. Storage and retrieval within the Fb Intralogistics Tower takes place on two overlying levels so that the number of unusable parking bays is minimised. Furthermore, a simple and ergonomic workstation is designed for storage and retrieval of containers, which can be customised to meet the needs of your company depending on requirements.

The storage system is managed via our own software Fb Stash. This software has a user-friendly interface, enabling staff to request retrieval of a specific container or, depending on the configuration, to retrieve the next picking orders.
