CUSTOMISED INTRALOGISTICS FOR YOU.

Werner Frissenbichler, CEO of Fb Industry Automation, about the opportunities for companies with customised intralogistics automation.

WHO SHOULD CONSIDER AUTOMATION OF THEIR WAREHOUSE?

“Any company with recurring storage or internal logistics processes (= intralogistics) can reduce their costs and increase their efficiency with automation. Our customer base ranges, for example, from SMEs (small and medium-sized enterprises) to large companies, and from online shops to manufacturing operations and wholesalers. What’s important is that the warehouse logistics solutions are customised for the respective requirements. It’s precisely this flexibility that sets us apart and differentiates Fb Industry Automation from other logistics providers in the market.”

WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO IMPLEMENT INTRALOGISTICS AUTOMATION?

“For us the most important factor is an initial analysis of the existing internal warehouse logistics that is based on the most important customer processes. Depending on the initial situation and goals, this leads to various solution options that we individually develop for the customer. As a strategic intralogistics partner, we develop and implement scalable and efficient solutions for the requirements of the future; think Industry 4.0. The Fb Industry Automation team of experts provide sustainable and long-term support. This means that well-coordinated and divergent intralogistics automation becomes your key competitive advantage.”

WHAT IS THE FIELD OF EXPERTISE OF Fb INDUSTRY AUTOMATION?

“We specialise in complete intralogistics solutions for storage and order picking using various shuttle systems as transport units. This allows higher payloads to be reliably moved and stored. This high transport weight is unique on the market, moreover, our systems feature high modularity and flexibility. Full automation of the Fb warehouse systems is achieved from the very first shuttle. Following this, the number of shuttles can be increased individually as required. The level of automation grows with your requirements. Maximum flexibility and availability therefore also ensure risk minimisation that is unparalleled on the market. From a financial perspective, this point is decisive. The investment in your intralogistics can therefore be spread over time and only be incurred when the company grows.

The basis of the unique Fb shuttle warehouse and transport solutions is our modular and customisable storage management, order picking and material flow control system – the high-performance Fb Stash.“

WHAT TYPES OF WAREHOUSES ARE THERE?

“There are three major storage areas in intralogistics. The first is the procurement warehouse for delivered goods. Automation solutions in this area need to fulfil different criteria than production or sales warehouses systems. For online shops, for example, shipping and the associated warehouse logistics are critical to success, because small optimisations achieve maximum benefits.

Production warehouses, on the other hand, serve complex and coordinated production processes. In this case, the refinement of raw materials creates incomparable, sales-promoting added value.

The handling of small parts for production presents many companies with increasing challenges. Although complexity and requirements are increasing, the necessary overview of internal material flows is lacking. Our Fb Compact Warehouse, as an automated small parts warehouse, guarantees that the right quantities of small parts are always in the right place at the right time. The Fb Compact Warehouse is the only shuttle warehouse system on the market that, in addition to goods-to-person order picking stations, also makes direct picking from the shelf without additional conveyor technology possible for you.”

WHAT MAKES THE PERFECT WAREHOUSE OF THE FUTURE?

“The warehouse of the future features modularity, flexibility and maximum space efficiency. It takes your intralogistics to a new level. In order to serve the human element, it individually adapts to the respective framework conditions. As a holistic complete solution, the multi-layered intralogistics system represents an important interface function for the various corporate divisions. From procurement, production and sales to external distribution, it is an essential and resource-conserving part of the corporate service provision value chain.

And it is precisely these requirements that our solutions address. Contact us and secure your free potential analysis. After outlining your existing material flows together, we will develop a customised initial concept for you. Free and non-binding.”

Hausbrot.at supplies kindergartens, businesses, and private households daily with fresh baked goods and other food products. However, with around 1,000 orders per day, the company reached the limits of its manual warehouse management. To meet the increasing demands, Hausbrot.at decided to undertake a comprehensive modernization of its intralogistics. In collaboration with Fb Industry Automation, a highly automated warehouse system was developed and implemented, which not only significantly increased efficiency but also minimized error rates and improved working conditions.
